Here’s what I can read from the two sides (OCRed parts) and a quick translation.
Front (OCR text)
- FEBRUARY CURRENCY
- A13729758 A (serial)
- ONE YEN
- 1 (top right corner)
- 1 (bottom right corner)
- Left circle with a large green character (looks like a Chinese/Japanese numeral)
- Green overprint with large characters across the center (not fully legible due to overlay)
Notes:
- Some characters are obscured by the green overprint, so not all text is legible.
Back (OCR text)
- ISSUED PURSUANT TO MILITARY PROCLAMATION (bottom)
Top line (banner): Japanese text (not clearly legible in the image)
Translation / meaning
- ONE YEN: denomination is 1 yen
- ISSUED PURSUANT TO MILITARY PROCLAMATION: the note was issued under a military proclamation (typical of wartime/occupying authority currency)
- The top/border text on the back is Japanese and not fully readable in this image
Overall: This appears to be a WWII-era military proclamation note for 1 yen, with a Japanese occupation/military provenance. The front includes the serial A13729758 A and the denomination “ONE YEN.” Some overprint text is not fully decipherable from the image.
